It has been a long ride.

I just may have hacked this consistency thing after all.

Hello guys, it’s been a minute!

So a quick backstory that you didn’t ask for.

I published my first newsletter on December 20, 2020, which by my calculations, I have been writing consistently for two years. Two whole years. That’s huge, well, for me at least.

Since I made it a point to always show up no matter what, I’ve had to write even during incredibly difficult moments. Consistency has never really been my thing, but for some reason, showing up here bi-weekly, for two whole years, taught me that maybe, just maybe, I have hacked this consistency thing after all. After achieving such a feat, I have decided it would not be a bad idea to rest my pen.

It would be entirely untrue if I said I am deeply pained to take this step (Insert a crying GIF or sticker). I think most part of me feels relief, to be honest. As much as I want to write (and share) the never-ending ideas and thoughts that run through my head, it sometimes feels like a chore when it is something I just have to tick off my to-do list.

Perhaps I need to restrategize on the kind of content to publish, or how often to publish, or I just really need to take a long break from writing. Either way, you may or may not see me in your inbox as often. I can’t say for sure when next I’ll write (I may even pop up in your inbox with a really long newsletter next week lol) but I may likely tilt towards a time interval that offers a lot of flexibility or just publish whenever I feel I have something interesting to say.

Thank you for sticking around for this long. It swells my heart to know you are interested in reading what I have to write. To my new subscribers, thank you too. We still have a long way to go together, I just haven’t figured out how, yet.
